JOBS FOR PEACE

Brad Carson, LA County Deputy Probation Officer, Founder of Jobs Create Peace, and President of United Hood Nation in his presentation “Stopping the Violence and Crime in America” is based upon 35 years of proof of concept, prototype models, pilot programs that are best practices and evidenced-based.

Jobs Create Peace is the basic premise in the Framework of the Logic Model in “What Works” towards a solution to the spiritual, social, economic, and political root causes of the problem of stopping violence and crime in America. The correlated and cross-correlated socio-economic factors identify “Ground Zero” as the nexus point of known communities plagued by high unemployment, education, poverty, and crime. The added variables of Age, Race, and Gender identify the targeted population within the targeted community.

THE SOLUTION

Change two socio-economic factors from unemployment to Employment, and un-education to Education to the tipping point in which JOBS + EDUCATION will overcome CRIME and POVERTY for the targeted population within the targeted community every single time. We are not guessing “What Works” .

FIND OUT HOW IT WAS DONE!

“ It should be recognized and celebrated that in the City of Los Angeles, for the year 2007, LAPD reported that crime was the lowest in 40 years, making Los Angeles the second safest big city in the United States (Dailynews.com 01/03/08, and L.A. Watts Times, “LA Sees Drop in Gang-related Homicides”, October 4, 2007).
