ROBOTICS
THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, TECHNOLOGY ART AND MATH MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS (STEAM)

We would need funding for supplies and registration on the state and National levels. The supplies need to include laptops for coding and electronics for the robots.

The start-up cost for a First Lego League would be around $2500. Most supplies can be reused each year but registration and current challenges would need to be refunded each year. Ages 4th - 8th grade

First Tech Challenge- $5000 to $7000 start-up. Would need computers and electronics along with build kits. Build kits can be reused but the registration and challenge field has to be updated each year.

Suggest salary and full expenses for a coach to travel and stay with a team for a week with daily practices. Weekly mentor zooms would need to occur after that initial period. There will need to be a mentor/coach who can attend the meetings weekly.

If the team advances beyond qualifier would be useful for the assigned coach to travel with the team to the state level to help. This would be helpful on both levels.

Students in the coaches team would also be assigned as mentors and help with outreach.
